For reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, I have just received a copy of "The Sheikh's Innocent Bride," a *real* Harlequin Romance novel, which could easily be adapted for...well.

"There is no such thing!" Rodney tossed back the sheet and vaulted out of bed. "I said I would not touch you if you were a virgin, and you chose to lie rather than tell me the truth. That was an act of deceit, and unfair to me."

Taken aback by his cutting candour, and by the aggressive masculinity of hsi naked bronzed body, John flushed a deep guilty pink and averted his eyes from his powerful physique. "It was my choice."

"But it would not have been *my* choice to destroy your innocence. That was a betrayal of the principles that I respect," Rodney imparted grimly, striding into the dressing room to gather up clean clothes and then continuing into the adjoining bathroom.

Man, there can never be enough Harlequin SG:A in the world, I'm slightly ashamed to say. Same goes for anything with Harem's.

I always speculated that the writers of these novels had a stock list of title words which they could use in any combination:

List 1 - choose your hero:
Greek
Italian
Sheikh

Playboy

List 2 - choose your heroine:

Mistress
Lover
Virgin

List 3 - choose your kink plot:

ROFL...I would read this! I love the pic of Rodney with the punctures in his neck, looking all innocent; John with the TEETH (which is oddly both creepy and silly); and John leering down at Rodney...only John can't quite sneer well enough, can he?

Wow! This is really beautiful. I love Vampire!john, FoodSource!Rodney fics stories/art! :-)

I am especially fond of the upper left portion of the front cover, with V!John looming over the entranced Rodney. Rodney seems clearly in thrall of John, under his influence, but also still terrifyingly aware. John is just a delightful bit sinister looking, but also genuinely eager for his prize. Ooooo. this would make a wonderful fic scene. My plot bunnies are stampeding in my head as I write. This fic seriously needs to be written.
