Secondly, I've been making covers today for what is quite possibly my favourite story in SG:A: Ordinary Life by astolat and cesperanza. I'd been considering podficcing it, but then someone on sgapodfic said they were doing it, and I don't want to step on toes... so I decided to be arty instead *g*. Plus it's about time I exercised that muscle. So to speak. Anyway, I couldn't decide which cover I liked best, so I made a kind of mosaic of them all. Click the tease for the full version

I'm mostly caught up in your coloring -- it's sort of retro, and yet modern at the same time, and very crisp. I keep thinking I have a favorite, then changing my mind!

Yeah, when I think about the story the image in my mind is of the pool, so I wanted the crisp blues, but at the same time that sort of sandy-pink sunset feel to give it some warmth. The feel of having sat in the sun all day!

I think my fave is the one I used as a tease, in the end, because it's simple and it has the gun, which I think it also important for the story.
