Secondly, I've been making covers today for what is quite possibly my favourite story in SG:A: Ordinary Life by astolat and cesperanza. I'd been considering podficcing it, but then someone on sgapodfic said they were doing it, and I don't want to step on toes... so I decided to be arty instead *g*. Plus it's about time I exercised that muscle. So to speak. Anyway, I couldn't decide which cover I liked best, so I made a kind of mosaic of them all. Click the tease for the full version

That is gorgeous. I love both the imagery (if that's the right word) and the colours very much, totally fits the story.
Also, can you reconsider that podfic? Or if not that, something else, just something. Things to do in Denver is the podfic I listened to most of any fanfics, I love it so much I could quote the whole thing by heart. *g*

These are *all* brilliant - if asked to choose *one* for the definitive cover of "Ordinary Life" I'd be hard put to pick it.

Not a synaesthete, I hasten to add, but you've managed to capture in pictures something of the writing style of this fic. And made it look something between a Saul Bass movie title graphic from the late 50s or early 60s and a David Hockney.
