A day in the life
Apr. 21st, 2008 09:49 pmI still owe people comments on my last post, which I'm still giving some thought to: it was extremely interesting reading people's thoughts on feminism and sexism; thanks to those who took part.
In the past few months I've been busier than I've been in my life before, hence the length of time since I posted regularly. However, the worst is (hopefully) over, and I wanted to get back into LJ.
I've seen a photos meme by various people, and since I see the same bloody things day after day didn't think a week's worth would make sense, but here, have a
Firstly, I wake up. This is the view from my pillow in the morning. See the lack of curtains? This will be a problem come lazy Sunday mornings in the summer.

I shower, dress and leave the house, fishing around in my handbag for my keys. What a mess the inside of my bag is; please note the torn up letter from my bank, headphone cable and copy of The Vagina Monologues borrowed from
rossywar

I get on the bus and wait, and wait and... wait. This is a quick glimpse from my upper deck window. London is just coming into flower :)

I get to work and boot up my computer. Note the cranberry juice; imperative to keep me on the non-coca cola diet.

Lunchtime, and we've been working such long hours that my friend who sits opposite has fallen asleep at his desk, poor thing.

Working 9am-10pm has some perks. Dinner for the office:

The longer we've worked, and the crazier we've become, the less work has gone on the whiteboard, and the more graffiti. I drew something here, but I'll leave you guessing as to what!

And then I get the bus back home and sleep. And do it all again. Hope you enjoyed! :D
