Am back in London. It's cold and a mess, quite the marked contrast to my Mum's house. So, in an effort to avoid having to unpack, I thought I'd show you all around my bag of Stuff that I brought back with me, in order to further enrich your lives with this junk essential information.

Picture behind the cut :)

1. Hi, my name's Tara, and my secret is that I'm a Smallville addict. So here are my Smallville Season Two DVDs; a christmas present from my Mum. I will also admit to trying to read Clex, but never finding anything that holds my attention. Dirty, bad, wrong recs are gratefully received. I'm on the Clex wagon.

2. Bag from Urban Outfitters. I bought presents there, and the bag has been more useful to me than any of my other purchases. It is the fabled bag of which the crap came. Mostly.

3. Christmas card from my father, and rather a hideous one at that. However it contains that most mythical of things: a cheque. So I keep it hanging around. Inside my father has written (in big, cartoon letters that cover up the tender, pre-printed message) "To Tara, HAPPY XMAS! DAD + JULIE" and my step-mum has written "have a lovely holiday".

4. A rewritable CD of Spaced caps from the phenomenal [livejournal.com profile] rossywar, for me to icon! Yay! Simon Pegg has my heart and a pair of my knickers.

5. Winter woolies. I'm into cream, apparently. The jumper is stolen from my dad, the scarf is incredible long and capable of taking out an entire family given the correct angle and wind velocity.

6. My rewritable CDs, containing, among other things, several episodes of Lost for [livejournal.com profile] rossywar. I would be watching them now if I didn't ever want to get on a plane ever again.

7. A funky Japanese-style ashtray for my sister's Christmas present.

8. My favourite pair of shoes in the whole wide world. Also, quite possibly, the most expensive. Just to give you some context, here is the post in which I talk about having bought them way back in April.

9. The funkiest and gayest book ever. My favourite Christmas present this year. A blank notebook with a tan guy in red speedos on the cover. It is so funky, my mum has slashy great taste.

10. "Fashion" pop socks from the uber-hip Marks & Spencers. For anyone not in the know, that's a granny store trying to make it in the young and funky market. I bought these pop socks yesterday, in a fit of 'I want to wear pretty shoes with my jeans!'

11. My mobile phone, being shy and peeking out from under the book. It knows it is not long for my hands; I'm getting rid of it this month. Or so I keep telling myself.

12. The most audacious item on this page, and one I hesitated to write about, but it's in the photo, so it get's a note. My family used to have many many Chilean friends (there was a large community in my home town when I was growing up) and traditionally they (and maybe others, who knows!) believe it is lucky to wear new red knickers on New Years Day. My mother has adopted this belief, and so on New Years Eve we spend hours dashing around trying to find red knickers. These were mine *g*.

Well, I feel like I opened myself up a little to you, there. I hope you enjoyed this pointless tour.

THE END
