To distract myself from my massive guilt for ruining my mum's favourite top, I'm posting.

Next week (o.O) I'm moving in with rossywar, heralding the Return of Zoetrope to London. The metropolis is quaking.

Anyway, I've been making stuff for the house, and my latest is my favourite. A chalk messageboard:

I love it! In the interests of possibly stealing the idea: Where'd you get the blackboard paint, and did you just paint directly onto the glass?

Hee! Basically, I painted the frame and the back of the mirror (so it can be turned over and used as a mirror if needed!) with Dulux Primer for "Difficult Services". Then painted the frame with a black matt emulsion in one of those little test pots - v cheap! - and the back of the mirror with Blackboard paint by a brand called "International". This is all available at Homebase. If you do it, let me know how it goes!
