Ok, I just heard a really scary bang from somewhere inside the flat. My flatmate is out to dinner. I'm on my own with the scary banging beast!

I went to investigate, carrying with me, for protection, my hot water bottle, a "Scratch me I'm Irish!" back scratcher - the closest thing to a big stick I could find - and the phone. I couldn't see anything, not even what may have made the noise...

And now I'm totally freaked out!

I knew there'd be karma to pay for having that pizza.

It could be the central heating - pipes and boilers and things often make strange noises.

If it isn't, I'll come round with some sort of weapon, okay? :)
